Who We Are

Caladenia Counselling is the home of The Godfrey Barrett-Lennard Counsellor Training Centre which is the community home of the postgraduate Counselling program at Murdoch University.  Our counselling centre provides a safe, supportive and affordable environment to assist people who are experiencing major challenges in their lives or who are dealing with a difficult situation.

Caladenia House
The Centre works with people of all ages and backgrounds in a caring, professional and confidential way to promote individual wellbeing and fulfilling relationships.

People who attent our counselling centre are seen by postgraduate students enrolled in the Master of Couselling or the Postgraduade Diploma of Counselling at Murdoch University who are supervised by experienced and qualified counselling staff.

Consultations are also available with our counselling staff at professional rates,  or at no cost when undertaken in our viewing facility on the Murdoch campus. This counseling space is especially designed so that trainees can unobtrusively observe expert counsellors working with clients from behind a one-way window. This is an invaluable opportunity for trainees to learn their therapeutic craft.
